I've been busy all over the year end at this point (as any normal human being you assume I am) I am dead tired. Not "bad" tired but... needing to do nothing for some time. The sad part is, It wont happen. This month in particular has been a particular draining one, financially and time consuming. I haven't got the time to cut my hair yet. CUT MY F*KING HAIR. I can use ponytail by now, and as my beard grew large if I dress accordingly I could pass as a Homeless man or a Drifter.

So many things, so little time... I don't like to complain -_- but Those are some of the reasons I had so little activity here in DA this end of year. And I REALY want to have time to dedicate my self into improving my paintings, I only hope next year I get some time to do things.

And for any fellow devianrartist here I have to say, I am still painting and will finish and post my paintings as soon as I am able. But as I have roughly 1-3 hours per week for painting it's taking long for the paintings to come as I want them to be (perfectionist much?).

(Last night I had to take care of a clinically depressed teen cousin because he ended with his 1 month girlfriend, and had about 3 hours of sleep before waking up and have to work)

And here is something:

Just a random nice guy. Whenever I feel angst, sadness, anger, etc, I used to sketch some random creepy horror monster/scene. Needless to say I made some heavy sick drawings in my teens. (ballpen in the back of a print test wile my computer was loading).

And here is a Tiny little preview of my ongoing painting for harry-botter.deviantart.com/
I ams sadly taking long to finish it but in hopes it turns out nicely.

Ah, perfectionism, my old "friend". It can either stifle creativity (my excuse), or drive us to produce extraordinary work, like yours. I love the portrait of what I assume is a Lupain, and your sketched monster would fit flawlessly into a lineup of H.P. Lovecraft's usual suspects. Your cousin is lucky to have you in his life; hopefully he realizes that, and expresses his appreciation when things are looking up again for him, if he hasn't already.

Experience has taught me that having a horrible night's sleep can sometimes lead to a great one the following night (physical pain and/or chronic insomnia notwithstanding). I hope tonight's sleep is much more restful for you, that this holiday season brings you happiness, and that the new year gives you ample time and the wherewithal to enjoy your artistic pursuits*.

* and cut your hair the way you like it :)
